A celebration of Mothers

I am 41 but in my Mother's eyes I am still like this.
That was my naughty chair! I loved it, but I dont think being naughty deliberately so I could be sent to it was the intention behind it.

What is a Mother's love?

Her love is like an island
In life's ocean, vast and wide
A peaceful, quiet shelter
From the wind, the rain, the tide.
'Tis bound on the north by Hope,
By Patience on the West,
By tender Counsel on the South
And on the East by Rest.
Above it like a beacon light
Shine Faith, and Truth, and Prayer;
And thro' the changing scenes of life
I find a haven there.

This is my Mum's favourite recent pic of me and it is guaranteed to make her chuckle. It's why I did it, cos I knew it would.

Anyway this post is very disjointed but the essence of it is, to celebrate and be thankful for all the wonderful Mummy's I know and love including my own. I am very blessed to know a fair few yummy mummy's indeed and be touched by the love and care that radiates so nurturingly from them.

Happy Mother's Day to all Mums!
