Bee happy!

I've always loved them. In fact Deborah in Hebrew means Bee. So its seems fitting that I indulge my eccentric side further my learning to be a bee keeper!

My first meeting with the Leicestershire and Rutland Beekeepers Association is on Tuesday night, in the pub of course, my kind of people I can tell. There is a huge amount to learn so it will be next year at the earliest before I get my hands on my first hive.

Bees are fascinating, intelligent and magical creatures. The miracle of producing liquid gold as they do has always amazed me and the day when I fill my very first jar, will be a very proud one indeed.
